Spring Furnace Walk

Dr. June Evans, archeologist will lead a walking tour of the iron furnace ruins between Marietta and Columbia on Sunday, April 2, 2006.  Participants should wear sturdy shoes for this three-hour trek.  The $5 registration fee includes water, snack and a booklet of historical background information.  Meet at the Breezy View Overlook of Chickies Rock County Park at 1:00 PM.  To pre-register or for more information call (717) 684-2489.  Sponsored by Rivertownes PA USA.
